To-Dos: Your March Home Checklist

Get ready for sunnier days, whether you have an hour or a weekend to spare

The first official day of spring is March 20. So whether there’s still snow on the ground or flowers in bloom, you can rest assured that nicer weather is on its way. Usher in the new season with a bit of spring cleaning, some fresh flowers, and — if you can get outdoors — a little dirt under your fingernails.

All of these suggestions are great and many can be done quickly. Others may take a bit of time and energy. For me, the only ones I can do right now are the ones that are indoors as my outside is still cold and snow-covered.  I do indulge my fantasies of what my garden will look like and what I will be adding. This is easy because I have been receiving gardening catalogs since December. I would imagine if you have ever ordered from a gardening place or requested a catalog you are receiving them in quantity by now. I find the catalogs helpful for making gardening plans. I like to do a vision board for my flower beds and all the catalogs help as they provide me with the colorful content for my vision board.
